The Restrictions on the Finance Sector in China
The finance sector in China has some similarities but is a lot more restricted in China than it is in the West. There's definitely these kinds of policy lending directives where the banks would have to abide by. If a loan goes bad, directly the bank staff that is in charge of that loan would then take on sometimes personal responsibility. And so I think very much appreciated how the state can mobilize power and resources to support real investment,. Right, right? That's why I presented this whole system as a whole at MMT Summer School last week.
