The Precarious Nature of a Veraways
A veraways insisted that we could pursue the study of nature using purely philosophical methods. He was exiled for a while from Cordoba and had to spend time in some more remote places in Spain. But by the end of his life he was back in good graces with the rulers in Cordoba. It illustrates the precarious nature of someone who's putting forth these kinds of seemingly radical ideas.
