How to Magnify an Image Using Optical Magnification
optical magnification is tricking our brains into extracting more information from the image than we were able to before by scaling the size of the image up. So let me now apply that knowledge to telescopes and then microscopes in turn and we'll understand how they work as well. There's not really much difference actually between telescope and microscope so telescopes and microscopes have more than one lens basically you need that to get the large magnification power. The first lens of a telescope is called the objective lens while the second is called the eyepiece lens.
