The Significance of Rahab's Scarlet Cord

The story of Rahab, a Gentile who helps the Israelites escape from Egypt. She is told to hang a scarlet cord in the window of her house and this window is being used in the wall here. It's supposed to signify to the soon-to-be invading Israelites: This house is under protective lights. So as a Gentile, she's kind of in her own experience now embody what Israel went through in the Exodus.
