The King Jesus Gospel and the Politics of Justice
I think the King Jesus gospel says that Christian should engage those issues right like those are not extras or addendums to the Christian life but that Christianity speaks to the things that the culture is concerned about. So it stems out of the local community as the local community comes together and they say together Jesus is my king, which is actually the hardest thing to do on a Sunday morning. Like we may worship Jesus you know using bands, but do we actually place ourselves under his authority and say rule over us right now? That's where action originates there.
