Do You Have a Tendence to Denial?
Even for myself, growing up, i always felt like i was under achieving on stage. We don't rise to the occasion so much as we fall to the level of our preparation. I think it's very important, too, after the concert, to take a snapshot of what did i feel happened. Over time, i can learn to actually hear what's going on and differentiate between expectation and actual hearing. It's a highly complicated process, as you know. When we're on stage, we're hearing what's going to happen next. We're correcting what happened before. And music is more than just a sum of lots of right notes.
