The Risks of CT Scanning Pregnant Patients
Any significant abdominal trauma can cause some degree of maternal fetal hemorrhage. The Chleihar-Becke test is looking for fetal blood cells and maternal circulation. I would do a transvaginal ultrasound to evaluate the placenta. Any RH negative mother who you strongly suspect had major abdominal trauma, fetal maternal hemorrhage should get rogan.
