Do You Think Amazon Is the Monopolist in E-Books?

The argument was that you have constructed a cartel to push up e-books prices. And everyone in the book industry said, who do you think the monopolist in this industry is? The DOJ, and the publishers all settled because they're one; their lawyers told them to settle Microsoft. Apple was enraged and fought it all the way through, not caring what it cost. They were just morally outraged by the whole thing and lost. But the outcome, of course, the publishers and Apple were absolutely right.
