The History of Medieval Combat
Diana Paxson was a graduate student at University of California, Berkeley specializing in medieval literature. She invited two young men to her backyard so that they could show off their nerdiest combat skills. Over the next few events, they expanded on it by adding more accurate dance and music. They also came up with a way for no one to dominate the combat tournament.
