The State of Politics in Canada

Shanta: I'm wondering whether that has contributed at all to the state of politics in Canada. She says there are important debates on parliament held, but not these kinds of debates unfolding on parliament. Shanta thinks it's healthier to have a diversity of views, including in politics, rather than some unity. "We're not terribly concerned about Canadian unity at this point," she says.
