The Pros and Cons of Trump's Indictment

Ellen Bragg, who has pursued Trump, has been controversial from the first here in Manhattan. He announced that he was going to reduce certain counts of armed robbery to misdemeanors. The public outcry was so, so great that he had to walk that back. So it's a refocusing of the criminal justice system away from things that are possibly understood as crime and toward crimes that have political valence for progressive activism base.
