Rob Delaney's new book How to Fail is an astonishing, honest account of what happens when your child dies. Despite the death of my son, I still love people and believe that if people felt a fraction of what my family feels then they would know what this life and this world are really about. But in the meantime, I do feel like I'm being sort of eaten by kind people who don't want to hurt me, but they're eating me nonetheless. That might not actually sound crazy. It's why I wrote the book. Right now there's a lot coming out of me - it hurts and that's okay.
