The Long Horns of Tashi-Lunpo Monastery

Four-meter long Tibetan trumpets played on the roof of Tashi-Lunpo monastery. Long horns are sounding to herald the Guttaur festival, which precedes Tibet new year. Monks gathered at 2am for a long puja prayer session, which lasted around six hours. It's like a frenzy of purification before the new year, and inviting in protective deities.
