I think he would have, Max would have stayed behind maybe for the whole first stint potentially if they had worked together. There were so many different scenarios that could have happened there. Verstappen was so comfortable out front to the point where he pretty much fell asleep and went off at one point. It's a tough conversation, but it depends what the drivers want. Do they want to finish second and third or do they want to help the team potentially win? But then it's which one of those drivers would win. And we already know that Hamilton wants to get a big W in the car before Russell this year, especially.
