The Dangers of Nuclear Weapons in the Air

Major Charles Amaltsby, a YouTube filet flew up to the North Pole on an air sampling mission. He heard Russian language on his radio and realized he'd flown inside the Soviet Union. They looked down and could see Migs coming up to shoot him down. But what they didn't know was because we were at a higher state of alert in Alaska, the people who were launched to go rescue him had nuclear weapons on their planes.
