The Disadvantages of Voting in a Charged Political Climate

Voting is like going to the DMV, it's just something that I don't want to do. It can feel sometimes like your vote's just a drop of water in the ocean or like a little match, you know, kind of cast into the sea, depending on whether or not you win or lose. So maybe then to build up an image of the way in which one's vote does matter, or how one's vote really shapes one as an individual and really does contribute to the kind of common project of the polity.
