The State Needs to Provide Security
In modern times we've all been brainwashed to believe, well, the government needs to provide a streetlights. And my friends report actually was a lot safer because you didn't have to worry about these stick up artists coming around and extracting resources from you. We don't need highly militarized tank units, SWAT teams for simple things like making sure that an average street is okay. Just simply knowing who's coming in, checking IDs, keeping track of people, that creates a lot of rules and order that you don't need with a big, big bazooka.
