The Role of Black Feminism in Postmodernism

Foucault gained a lot of prominence with people who were studying issues in the kind of schools of critical theory. Black feminism started to have a major current of very postmodern thought or sympathies towards the postmodern conception of power and structure in society. In particular that set of reservations was mostly resolved by Kimberly Crenshaw's famous 1991 paper titled mapping the margins.
