The History of the King James Version
There were always concerns with how perfect the new edition was. People would identify certain typos or people would say, you know, it's been translated this way for so long. This is garbage. We need to translate it another way. And that happens again in the 1800s. The second great awakening makes, there's a kind of a resurgence of antiquarian interest. and people go back to the King James Version as the standard.
