The Threat From China Is Real, and We Need to Act
china knows that the us. Constitution allows for far greater control at the state and local level than in many other countries. So they're targeting mayors and state legislaturs and governors so that those politicians will either create pressure on the federal government to be more pro china, or a state will adopt more pro-china policies. Now that's not to suggest that china won't try to affect politicians on the national level too. Because they will.
