Is It Okay to Be a Nerd?

I like that we are reclaiming being a nerd or being a geek because it's about being a fan. How can you feel bad about someone who's really into something even if it's not something you're into? I follow people who feel like they could be just like me. Like there's a channel that my mom watches that's just decorating cookies and you can tell that someone is so passionate about decorating cookies. Even if you will never actually follow any of these tutorials or make cookies or sew a replica of a Disney princess dress you see them as somebody who is really really into something just like you do. That quality is attractive when it comes to content creating.
