Labour has been hoovering up votes among millennials and zoomers from Gen Z, graduates and minority voters. The problem labor has is those those groups concentrate in the same kinds of areas. And also, crucially, to answer your specific question about conservative liberals, or who we might call conservative remainers here - they didn't like Brexit. About a quarter of that group refused to leave the conservatives in 2019. They stayed with the conservatives, even though they hated what Boris Johnson was saying,. Even though they hated the idea ofBrexit, they put their party loyalty ahead of their UKIP identity.
