How to Purge Yourself of Sin on Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur is also known as the Day of Atonement and Caparot is usually done around dawn on the day before. Many Orthodox Jews do this through another sacred tradition, which requires a live chicken. In Judaism, like Christianity and so many other faiths, we don't want to sin. We want to be obedient. And when we become sinful, it's important we purge ourselves of that sin.
