How China's Digital Currency Works

I understand you've written quite a bit about de-dollarization. Could you describe to us how blockchain technology works as a digital currency in China? The Chinese digital currency, the ERMB or the digital UN or the central bank digital currency is quite a distinct piece of technology. And it doesn't work on a public network in the way that things like the mainstream western crypto currencies do. It works on a network which is in effect an authority-driven consensus mechanism.
