How to Use Technology to Increase What You Can Do

Our main OR position was really built around antibiotic optimization for the periopopulation. And so our position prospectively reviews and optimizes every single pre-op antibiotic for every patient that comes through our surgery centers. We do this through an advanced prep process where we can kind of pre-review orders for the next business day of surgery. So, holding it on high risk medications, you know, basically just, I want to emphasize to the audience as a good role for a pair of operative clinical pharmacists.
