The Toll of Working on a Writing Staff
The writers' rooms started up two weeks or a week and a half after I had our first child. We didn't cougar town it, so we were working pretty long hours. It's just so much stress. Even without the kid, you're basically asking them to be on their own for a really long time. Like going into the army kind of, like, or a prison sentence. You are on the one side of a thing that's not going to abate. And wine's more than a bad drink.
