Black Metal

Under the title "Black Metal", Venom released their second studio album in 1982 through Neat Records, a work that became one of the foundations of extreme metal and lent its name to the black metal subgenre.

While there are books about Venom and their history—such as Antony "Abaddon" Bray’s memoir "The View From The Metal Throne – The Story Of Abaddon & Venom", which covers the creation of classics like "Welcome to Hell", "Black Metal" and "At War with Satan"—there is no widely documented, separate book whose official title is simply "Black Metal" by Venom.
