Fleas

Fleas are holometabolous insects, going through the four lifecycle stages of egg, larva, pupa, and imago (adult).

They are known for their jumping ability and can transmit diseases such as Murine typhus, Cat flea typhus, and the bubonic plague.

Flea infestations can cause significant discomfort to pets, including itchiness, skin irritation, and allergic reactions.

Effective control measures include treating both the pet and its environment with insecticides and regular vacuuming and washing of pet bedding.
