Sign of the Beaver

Sign of the Beaver, set in 18th-century Maine, tells the story of a young boy named Matt who is left alone to guard his family's claim.

While his father travels back to Massachusetts to fetch the rest of the family, Matt befriends Attean, an indigenous teenager, and learns about survival skills and respect for nature.
