A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN PROSE. Being a Ghost Story of Christmas.

On a cold Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter miser, is visited by the ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley, who warns him of his fate and foretells visits from three spirits.

The Ghost of Christmas Past shows Scrooge his joyful youth and lost love; the Ghost of Christmas Present reveals the hardships of his clerk Bob Cratchit and family, including Tiny Tim; and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come reveals Scrooge's lonely death.

Transformed, Scrooge awakens on Christmas Day as a generous, kind man, embracing the holiday spirit.
