Mum & Dad

Mum & Dad follows Monica and Gus Meacham, who moved from England decades earlier to establish a vineyard in southern Spain, and their three adult children—Sebastian, Katie and Jake—who converge on the family estate when Gus has a stroke.

The novel explores long‑standing resentments, shifting family roles, care for ageing parents, and how secrets and old grievances surface as the family tries to decide what is best for Mum and Dad.
