Fine feathers

Fine Feathers is a book written by Marianne Fons, focused on feather quilting designs.

She dedicated the book to Liz Porter and shared some of the royalties with her.

Initially, Fons pitched the idea to Oxmoor House and a magazine, but they weren't interested.

C&T eventually published the book, which impressed an editor at Oxmoor House the following year when Fons returned to Quilt Market.

She then pitched the idea of writing a complete guide with Liz Porter, which led to their collaboration on the Quilter's Complete Guide.
