Operation Columba--The Secret Pigeon Service

Operation Columba tells the story of a secret British intelligence operation that used homing pigeons to gather crucial information from Nazi-occupied Europe during World War II. Between 1941 and 1944, over 16,000 pigeons were dropped across occupied territories, carrying messages that provided insights into German troop movements and military strategies.

The operation involved ordinary people risking their lives to send these messages, including the 'Leopold Vindictive' network led by Belgian priest Joseph Raskin.
