We See Each Other is a literary reckoning that explores the history of trans characters on screen.

The book covers a wide range of films and television shows, including Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil, Psycho, Holiday Heart, Boy’s Don’t Cry, America’s Next Top Model, Some Like It Hot, Survivor, Tangerine, Pose, and RuPaul's Drag Race.

It intertwines this history with Tre’vell Anderson's personal stories of growing up and their formative experiences as a Black, trans journalist, contextualizing the present moment of increased representation.
