Maximum Ride

Maximum Ride is a young adult science fantasy series by James Patterson that follows Maximum "Max" Ride and her family, called the Flock, who are human-avian hybrids created in a lab known as The School.

The series centers on their adventures as they evade capture by their creators and fight to save the world from various threats.

The first book, The Angel Experiment, introduces the Flock as they try to rescue their youngest member, Angel, from kidnappers while battling genetically engineered enemies called Erasers.
