' It contains essays that outline Beam's views on white supremacy, his experiences, and his strategic thoughts on guerrilla warfare and leaderless resistance.

The book was influential among white supremacist groups, including The Order, also known as the Bruders Schweigen or the Silent Brotherhood, which distributed copies of Beam's work to its followers.
