Holy Book of the Great Invisible Spirit

The Holy Book of the Great Invisible Spirit, also known as the Coptic Gospel of the Egyptians, is a Sethian Gnostic scripture found in Codices III and IV of the Nag Hammadi library.

It details the emanation of the Father, Mother, and Son from the great invisible Spirit, the creation of Autogenes, Adamas, and the incorruptible Seth, along with the four luminaries and their ministers.

The text emphasizes Seth as the progenitor of the eternal seed, includes prayers, and describes baptism and salvation through divine knowledge, concluding with its deposition by Seth for future revelation.
