The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle

Holmes uses his deductive skills to trace the goose back to its source, ultimately uncovering the identity of the thief, James Ryder, a head attendant at the Hotel Cosmopolitan.

Despite solving the crime, Holmes decides to let Ryder go, reflecting his moral stance as an investigator.
